Terms of Service

Last updated: July 17, 2026

Agreement to these terms

Using the Sentasity website or product means you agree to these terms. They form the agreement between your business and Sentasity LLC ("Sentasity," "we," "us"). If your organization has signed a separate order or master agreement with us, that signed agreement governs wherever it conflicts with these terms.

The service

Sentasity reads your AWS cost, configuration, and security-posture metadata through a read-only role, calculates waste and savings, analyzes your Reserved Instance and Savings Plan utilization, and produces reports and recommendations. Sentasity never modifies your AWS resources, and never reads your application data, your code, or the contents of your secrets.

Accounts and eligibility

The service is for businesses, not consumers. The person accepting these terms must have authority to bind their organization. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.

Your AWS access grant, and how to revoke it

You grant Sentasity a read-only cross-account IAM role by deploying our published CloudFormation template. You can revoke that grant at any time by deleting the stack, which ends our access to your account immediately: the role is the only path in. If you want the service to keep working, you are responsible for keeping that role in place. Our access is limited to what the role's policies allow; the exact role definition is published on our trust center.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • attempt to access another tenant's data;
  • probe, scan, or attack the platform;
  • resell or misrepresent the service; or
  • use the service in any way that violates AWS's terms or the law.

Customer data and privacy

Your data remains yours. We process it only to provide the service, as described in our privacy policy. When you close your account or ask us to delete your stored scan data, we remove it within 60 days.

Intellectual property

Sentasity owns the platform, the software, and our own materials. You own your data and the underlying facts about your AWS account that our reports describe. We grant you a limited right to use the service and its outputs for your own business.

Fees

Fees, if any, are those stated in the order or plan you sign up for. Free scans are provided at no charge. We don't state prices here because pricing on the site is evolving; the order or plan you accept is what governs what you pay.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is." Cost and savings figures are estimates derived from your AWS data; they are not guarantees of actual savings. Our recommendations are informational, and you are responsible for the decisions you make about your AWS environment. We aim to be accurate, but AWS pricing and your usage change, and no estimate can promise a future result.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Sentasity is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim; or, where the service was provided free, to one hundred U.S. dollars.

Term and termination

Either party may end this relationship at any time. You end it by stopping use of the service and deleting the access role. When the relationship ends, we delete your stored scan data within 60 days, the same commitment as our privacy policy. The disclaimers and the limitation of liability survive termination.

Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Sentasity is organized in the State of Colorado. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Colorado, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

When we make a material change, we update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the current version.
